Installation Instructions for Stk2000

Additional Information

1. Download STK2000.ZIP to some folder where you can find it after you download it.

2. Unzip STK2000.ZIP

3. Run the INSTALL.BAT file that is one of the files that unzips out of STK2000.ZIP

More detailed instructions.

1. Make a folder on your computer C:\Stk2000

2. Left click the Stk2000 gold bar above.

3. Click the "Download" circle in the box that will appear.

4. Select the newly created C:\Stk2000 folder to download into.

5. Click "Ok" to download STK2000.ZIP.

6. Unzip STK2000.ZIP (Use Winzip or Pkzip or compatible)

7. Run C:\STK2000\INSTALL.BAT

   • From Windows click Start; Run

   • In the run window's text area type C:\stk2000\install.bat

   • Click "Ok"

8. A DOS box will appear and scroll several files into the places they are needed.

9. The Stk2000 screen should then appear on your computer indicating that the install was successful.

How to use Stk2000

If your computer is not set up for Visual Basic
 you  will need to download and install the Resource files below. Don't do this unless you get an error message when you try to run Stk2000 because you may already have later versions of these runtime files on your computer.

Stk2000 is shareware.
You may download it and use it as much as you like. It is fully functional as is. If you like the program you can register for $25 at Stkusers online store and get a username and password for the Updates Site where the latest version and some useful accessories are maintained.
